Roads to Recovery - A Collaborative Approach

Pre-Registration is NOW OPEN!
Conference registration includes 2.5 days of training, Welcome Reception; morning and afternoon networking breaks on Wednesday and Thursday, morning networking break on Friday; breakfast on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; lunch on Wednesday and Thursday, and the conference program. Admission to the post-conference Ethics training is available for an additional fee.

Registration is complete when the form and fees are received by ACT Missouri. Space is limited and registration will be accepted on a first received basis.

On-line pre-registration
Online pre-registration for the 7th Annual Midwest Conference on Problem Gambling and Substance Abuse, July 28-30, 2010, in Kansas City, is available to attendees paying their registration fees by credit card.

Pre-registration deadlines and policies for presenters
Conference presenters must pre-register for the conference by May 31, 2010. Pre-registration for all others closes on July 10, 2010. Anyone who has not completed pre-registration by July10th must register for the conference onsite.

If I am a student, can I attend at a discounted rate?
We are pleased to offer a 50% discount for the Conference Registration (only). Additional fees do apply if you wish to attend the Thursday Evening Dinner & Theatre, or the Friday afternoon Ethics training. In order to register as a student, you must provide proof of current school registration and a copy of your student ID.

Cancellation and refund policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellations postmarked prior to June 25, 2010 will be refunded less a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be issued if postmarked after June 25th. No Exceptions.

If the conference is cancelled for any reason, the liability of the Midwest Consortium on Problem Gambling and Substance Abuse to the registrant is limited to the return of registration fees.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else if I cannot attend?
You may transfer your registration, minus the $50 processing fee, to another individual by submitting a written request with the replacement name and contact information. Transfer requests must be received prior to July 10, 2010. ACT Missouri will contact you both should additional fees apply to the new registrant. Any change or cancellation of travel or hotel reservations is the exclusive responsibility of the attendee

Ethics Training
The Ethics training is an optional extended training opportunity that MCPGSA is happy to make available to our attendees and colleauges seeking to meet their Ethics CEU requirements. It will be held the afternoon of Friday, July 30. The fee for the Ethics training includes 3 hours of training and one snack break.

All individuals who wish to attend the Ethics Training on Friday afternoon must either pre-register, or register on-site (pending availability). Please note the Ethics Training is available on a first-come first-served basis, with limited seating.

Individuals who are unable to attend the conference and who only wish to attend the Ethics Training are welcome to register for the Ethics Training as well.
